It’s been awhile since I’ve posted.  Between my own business taking off – I have a waiting list for individual sessions 4-5 weeks out – and Wisdom 2.0 accelerating rapidly, life has been really full.  Still, I want to stay present here on my site.  So here’s a snapshot into my life in the form of a post I posted on my birthday (Saturday).

The Facebook Post

“45. I’d say that’s just about as mid-life as you can get. 🙂

So I’m lying in bed reading and goofing off on Facebook. Soon Rachel, my daughter will make us breakfast in bed. The birthday wishes have been coming in from all over the world …

I’m blessed with a very healthy body and my coaching practice has a waiting list. Francesca, my fiancé is amazing—have I said lately how wonderful it is to be in a relationship with someone who really does her work? The work I get to do with the Wisdom 2.0 Team is opening new possibilities for untold numbers of people in the world of business and beyond …

Deep friendships, open-hearted relationships with my parents (who are both still healthy and vibrant despite some health scares in the past few years), a beautiful solar home, travel to FUN places (much of it paid for by work), having the chance to live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet, being part of several incredibly deep spiritual communities …

As I’m here reflecting on 45 and what the next part of my life is about I’m moved to tears. Wow Universe. Wow!

I also want to say it hasn’t been like this for much often life. Struggled with work and money. Fought with my parents. Was overweight and abused alcohol, drugs, food and sex. Please keep doing the deep inner work. It really does lead to change …

Thanks for listening to the meandering rant of a guy who just turned 45 and is shaking his head in wonder and whose heart is overflowing with love and gratitude.”
