Gary Craig addresses this with what’s called the “minister’s mindset” – I’m doing God’s work – I can’t make money! Many professions, such as social workers and coaches suffer from these conflicts. I can only say that I couldn’t agree more that we need to reconcile them and EFT is a great tool to do just that!

Wonderful clarity you offer, Paul, as always! I’m grateful to have your coaching input into ‘my stuff’.

Point #4 you make has underlied my own stellar growth this year.

I’ve had a huge flow of career highs unfolding in recent months – corporate EFT contract abroad next month, being invited to do EFT workshops abroad for next year, being invited by Gary Craig to do an audio with him and Lynne Shaner this week. There is more I could add to this list. I mention these as evidence of the power of having a skilful coach in support of my growth. Thank you.

Thanks so much for sharing this Paul! I love your openess about your fear, it just goes to show that even a seasoned EFT pro still needs help to knock down those barriers. I agree that the Choices method is a great tool when we’re dealing with these “either/or” types of beliefs. I’ve used it a LOT in my own personal work and with clients. Once you’re aware of what your “either/or” story is, it’s usually pretty easy to come up with a good setup. For my own “old” story, I would have used something like:

“ET I’ve always believed good moms can’t have successful careers, I choose to find it surprisingly easy to create time for both work and family in my life”

(of course this will often bring up a lot of tailenders that could be tapped on as well!)

And I can’t say enough good things about Family Energetics. It’s really helped me in some powerful ways.
