I'm so glad to hear about your success! 10 minutes a day - sounds like a pretty awesome return on your investment! Thanks for updating us on your success journey.

The results are in. I did a gratitude journal for my business and (almost) every morning wrote 5 things I am grateful for about my business. Then I would do some tapping on each item - to get to the point where I was really feeling it, rather than glossing over as I've done in the past with other gratitude journals. (I spent about 10 minutes each morning on it.) The results were fabulous and instantaneous. I had an instant energy lift in my day, far more clarity and a sense of well being. (I did miss some mornings and those days were lower energy and less fulfilling days.) It really was quite dramatic - and even more so given the minimal effort I put into it. By the way, I made my sales goals for the month of February and had some pivotal and memorable business opportunities come up. I can't help but attribute at least part of the successes to the morning ritual. I think I'll start another round for March!

Paul, thanks for your response. I don't know what clearing tools are, so I'll "google" the examples that you gave. I'm sure EFT will be helpful to me. I do other kinds of work, like affirmations, visualizations, meditation, and I also visual journaling--which is visual self expression (as a way of being self-reflective and gaining insight), combining 2-d mixed-media with writing. So I see EFT as something that goes along with the other things I already do. Thanks!

Welcome to EFT Traci! I trust that if you go beyond the basics and play with the deeper wisdom in the EFT tools, there's a VERY good chance you will see the results you are looking for. At the same time, we have always been taught that EFT is "a way, not THE way" by founder Gary Craig. There are many other energetic clearing tools from the Sedona Method to Matrix Reimprinting to Reiki to Be Set Free Fast and untold others. Ultimately, I want to inspire you to do the deep work whether EFT is useful for you or not.

Hope that helps!

Warmly,
Paul

I am just getting into EFT, and am very interested and hopeful that it can make a difference in my life. I enjoyed your article, and have one question. In summing it up, you said "use your favorite clearing tool to release the frustration and struggle patterns."

Can you give some examples of clearing tools?

Thanks so much,
Traci

Fantastic - this is encouraging me. I know it can only be an excellent experiment. Maybe I'll focus on what I am grateful for in my business.

Jill,

Thanks for the reminder of a gratitude journal and gratitude tapping. These are powerful - and very under utilized success tools. For instance, Bill Baren (<a href="http://www.billbaren.com/" rel="nofollow">www.BillBaren.com</a>) has a THRIVING coaching practice - he has 4 coaches that work for him because he has so many clients. Bill is very public about the fact that his "secret" is every day he writes down what he appreciates about his clients. Powerful stuff ..

Much love and appreciation,

Paul

This was so good to read. I agree with Andrew - great idea to tap on it for a period of time. And like Paul, I lose focus and get bored. I was just thinking that doing a gratitude journal and then tapping every morning on those five things I am grateful for would really get me in the zone. If I actually do it, I will add a round of this impatience tapping - and I'll report back in in 30 days....

Great comment Andrew! Yes, I agree that there are often many aspects (side issues) that contribute to coming to a stuck place. For those who are self-motivated, daily self tapping is awesome. Personally, I tend to have difficulty tracking progress and get bored trying to do it myself. I prefer to have a <a href="http://paulzelizer.com/what-the-heck-is-a-prosperity-buddy/" rel="nofollow">prosperity buddy</a> to work with.

Thanks for chiming in with another insight addition. I'm really enjoying getting to know you.

Much love,

Paul
