It happened again the other day. A woman called me – let’s call her Laura. Laura is a spiritual woman who has tried a number of ways to find success. She’s worked for purpose driven companies as well as started her own business. She’s also tried different abundance programs. She said, “I don’t understand it. I’m a smart person. I have lots of experience. I don’t understand why I’m still living month-to-month at this stage of my life.”

Better relationships = more money

It’s hard to increase your success when you think of money as just a colored piece of paper. Smart success seekers understand that money always comes to us through relationships. It’s a symbol we agree to use to express how much value we are providing to the people around us. One of the best ways to improve your income is to increase the number of quality relationships in your life.

Successful business people throughout the ages have known about the power of networking. In fact, groups like the Chamber of Commerce and Business Networking International teach that this is among the most powerful success tool there is.

The problem with most people’s approach is that it leaves out an understanding of mindset. Most people don’t get much from their attempts to increase their network (online or off) because inside they are asking questions like, “how can this person help me make money?”

Imagine you are a prospective client talking with someone you are considering doing business with. What do you feel in your body when the primary question in the person’s mind is “How can you help me make more money?” My first response is “Yuck, get me out of here!”

In order to experience an authentic increase in success, you need 4 kinds of relationships. They are:

  1. Centered relationship with your Self
  2. Flowing relationship with money
  3. Purpose-driven relationship with clients/customers
  4. Co-creative relationships with colleagues

Energy psychology tools, like EFT and Money Matrix, allow you to easily develop these four neccessary relationships for success. To help you learn how to do this, I’m doing a FREE teleclass on Sunday, August 30th at 2pm Eastern Standard Time. It’s called The Heart of Success: Money Matrix and the 4 Kinds of Relationships You Need to Succeed.

In today’s economy, if you are connected then you are valuable. With email, cell phones, social networking sites and other forms of technology, it’s easier to connect than ever. It’s your thoughts, feelings and behaviors – your Money Matrix – that determines whether or not these connections are a source of support and success. I’m offering this FREE class because I want you to know how to increase your success through the power of relationships.

I work with lots of EFT and Meridian Tapping Practitioners who want to grow their practices.  If you have been listening to anyone who’s someone in the Internet marketing world lately, you have heard that social media marketing is growing like the rabbit population during a very wet year.  One of the reasons that my own practice has grown faster than most is because early on I tapped into the power of social networking.

One of the big challenges when you’re starting with social networking is finding other people who share your passion. To help you do this, I came up with this list of EFT/MTT practitioners who tweet.  The people on list have extensive knowledge about tapping, are skillful at using Twitter as a social networking tool and are real go-givers.   Almost all are full time practitioners.

If you are passionate about EFT and other forms of energy tapping and would like to learn more about attracting more clients, I’d suggest taking a look at what this group is doing.  The link to each name takes you to their Twitter page and the bios are copied right from Twitter.  It would also be a good idea to check out their websites which is listed on the top right of their twitter page.
You can easily follow everyone on this list by clicking on this button:

BTW, if you or someone you know belongs on this list, feel free to send me a tweet.  I’m @PaulZelizer on Twitter.  Or you can send me an email.

Twitter allows EFT practitioners who want to attract more clients to learn from and connect with other practitioners who have more marketing experience.  You get to observe how others live their client attraction strategies.  It’s hard to imagine a more effective way to learn.  And you can’t beat the price – it’s free.

Your Money Matrix is the energetic web that determines your current relationship with money. It is a combination of the important feelings, beliefs and relationships that you have with money.  When we are not experiencing the kind of success that we want, it’s often because our Money Matrix is being influenced by difficult or painful energies.

The good news is that you can use energy tools, like EFT for Abundance, to make profound shifts in your Money Matrix. But before you change anything, you need to know where you are now.  This post outlines a simple 4 step exercise I use with clients to help them understand their current energetic relationship with money.  Before you start, it’s helpful to have a pen and a piece of paper for taking a few notes.

1. Take 3 clearing and centering breaths. The purpose of this is to help you relax your system and increase your ability to be aware. With each breath, find yourself becoming a bit more relaxed and more of attention available in the present moment.

2. Imagine that you are in a room with money. It’s a simple room, comfortably furnished. Notice where money is in relationship to you. Is it to one side, in the front, outside the room, etc? Take a minute to write down what you what you see in your mind’s eye.

3. Notice who or what else is in the room with you. After you have a sense of who and what these presences are, notice where these other presences (people or things) are in relationship to you and to money. For instance, one client felt a 3 inch plate glass wall that was between her and money. Take a minute to write down what you what you see in your mind’s eye.

4. Notice the feelings in your body about your current Money Matrix. Your Money Matrix is encoded into the cells of your body.  Paying attention to the feeling in the snapshot you see is a powerful way to access your code. What do you notice in your body and on a feeling level as you view this picture in your mind’s eye?

For thousands of years, spiritual teachers have told us that knowing where we are in the moment is a key step towards being able to shift into a different future. Before you change your level of success, you need to know where you are right now.  Once you know what your current Money Matrix looks like, you can use EFT for Abundance and other energy tools to clear any energetic blocks to success and allow money to come much more easily into your life.

EFT for Abundance often doesn’t work because of our internal conflicts about money. This video shows you how to make more progress using EFT for abundance by clearing your internal money conflicts. Would appreciate your comments about whether this approach is helpful to you.

The Incremental Approach to Abundance with EFT and the Law of Attraction

Note: I co-wrote this with EFT Practitioner Sejual Shah in the UK.  Her website is www.healthyinmind.com

When people come to work with us on abundance issues in our EFT practices we introduce them to a powerful way of thinking that we’ve called the Incremental Approach.

In our exploration of the Law of Attraction combined with tapping we have sought to help ourselves and our clients create success in many areas of our lives, i.e. money, career progression, relationships and health.  Time and again we have come back to how for most people abundance is not found at the end of a leprachaun’s rainbow in one skip. Instead it grows cumulatively, rather in the way we as individuals progress through life step by step.  In this way, there is no limit to our success, we just keep climbing new ladders of possibility without the risk of falling to the ground.

EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique is a powerful neurotechnology that I often use in my individual sessions and groups.  I find that it quickly clears negative emotions (like fear) that block success.  It’s also a great tool to open up to new possibilities in gentle yet effective ways.

The EFT Tapping Points

EFT Tapping Points

EFT Tapping Points

Below you will find information about the eight most common EFT tapping points.  The information about the emotional correlation with each point comes from Dr. John Diamond’s book, Life Energy.

Karate Chop Point (Small Intestine #3).  This point is on the fleshy part of your hand, right where your hand would make contact with a board if you were going to break it like a Karate expert would.  Emotionally, this point is associated with psychological reversal, sadness and joy.

Eyebrow (Bladder #2). This point is on the eyebrow line where it’s closest to the bridge of the nose.  Tap on the bone, not the soft area.  Emotionally, this point is connected to impatience, restlessness, frustration, peace and serenity.

Side of the Eye (Gall Blader #1). This point is about 1″ outside of the eyeball, again on the bone.  It is emotionally connected to rage, fury, adoration and forgiveness.

Under the Eye (Stomach #1). This point is about 1″ under the eyeball, on the bone.  It is emotionally connected to disappointment, disgust, emptiness, bitterness, hunger, and contentment.

Under the Nose (Governing Vessel #26). Halfway between the bottom of the nose and the top of the upper lip.  Emotional connections are psychological reversal, pride and embarrassment.

Chin (Conceptual Vessel #24). Not really on the chin.  Halfway between the bottom of the bottom lip and the bottom of the chin.  Emotionally, it’s connected to psychological reversal, shame and worthiness.

Collarbone (Kidney #27). Where the collarbone comes into the sternum, there are two bumps about where the knot of a man’s tie would be.  Go 1″ down and 1″ out towards the shoulder on either side.  The emotions connected with this point are fear of intimacy, sexual assuredness and security.

Under the Arm (Spleen #21). About 4″ down from the armpit on the line where the seam of a sweater would be.  This point is emotionally correlated with anxiety, faith and confidence.

These are the eight basic EFT tapping points that most practitioners use.  There are many other points that can lead to good results.  For example, many people add in the Top of the Head point.  To keep things as simple as possible, I like to start with the eight above points and add in others as needed.
